One could simply search for or enter coordinates manually. I could make the argument that the existing import button is simply a convenience. This makes it vastly simpler to determine time windows for imaging than the graph for angle above horizon. I have my actual view of the sky from my scope position displayed in Stellarium, so I can easily see exactly when targets clear obstacles such as buildings and trees for all azimuths. None of the display sources in the framing Wizard have Stellarium’s features to display custom landscapes. The convenience of 2-way coordinate syncing with Stellarium is not solely for framing purposes.
